CIPM Client Colin Ruotsinoja Signs with the Yorkton Terriers

Center Ice Player Management is proud to announce that client Colin Ruotsinoja has signed with the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for the 2026-27 season.

Ruotsinoja, a 6-foot, 165-pound right-shot forward, joins Yorkton after two seasons at Gentry Academy in the USHS-MN, one of the top prep programs in the country for producing junior and college talent. He closes out his time there coming off a career year, posting 8 goals and 9 assists for 17 points in 29 games during the 2025-26 season, nearly doubling his output from the year before, when he had 5 goals and 4 assists for 9 points in 23 games as a 16-year-old.

Born November 7, 2008, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Ruotsinoja is exactly the kind of player CIPM works to put in position: a young forward who is still adding to his frame, still climbing his production curve, and ready for the jump to a full 58-game Junior A schedule. He heads to Yorkton at a stage where his best hockey is still in front of him, with three years of SJHL eligibility to develop his game against older, stronger competition on a nightly basis.

The SJHL has long served as a proving ground for USHS and high school players looking to bridge the gap to U.S. college hockey, and our team worked closely with Colin and his family throughout the process to help identify Yorkton as the right fit for his development.

This is the part of the job we take the most pride in: seeing a client we've worked with, evaluated, and advocated for land in a spot built for his growth. Congratulations to Colin on this next step.
